Raising a few eyebrows, Twitter has released a tool to record how much traffic is received from tweets/re-tweets to a website. This should help brands quantify the question…. Why run a twitter campaign?  As quoted from the article there are three things that are being shared as the key factors;

“How much of their content is being shared on Twitter, how much traffic Twitter is sending their way and how well Tweet Buttons are performing.”

For all of us in the digital social space let’s hope it continues to push our reasons for richer, useful, and meaningful brand interactions for the consumer and the brand. Currently it is free in beta, so get in if you can.
